Motion GFX, Animation and Compositing
The Challenge
Using only supplied stills to create layered 3D motion graphics to drive an engaging and poignant film that paints a picture of 20 years of the ERRC.
Our Approach
Analysing each still to map the camera’s position gives us the ability to then move the camera and shift the layers of the image in 3D space.
Combined with some gorgeous editing by Artur Zaremba we crafted a multi-layered highly engaging visceral piece to capture the message of the film.
It has been inspiring to work with the immensely talented group of documentary filmmakers at Nowadays.
Seeing Gecko bring our rough compositions to life was so satisfying. Loved collaborating on each frame until it was perfect - the eye for detail and meticulous execution really made the project a pleasure to work on”
