Founder and Creative Director

Jonathan brings nearly 15 years of experience in the animation industry, having first made his mark in 2011 by launching Gecko Animation. Since then, he has served as VFX Supervisor and Animation Director on a wide range of high-profile projects for major global brands. Known for his keen eye for form, motion, and detail, Jonathan consistently brings cinematic excellence to every production, combining creative vision with technical precision to deliver outstanding results.  

Senior Animator

Jon is our Senior Animator and brings over 10 years of experience to Gecko, creating and managing beautiful animation projects within the beauty and tech industries. A passionate creative, Jon enjoys getting involved in all aspects of a brief from start to finish and is always eager to take on a challenge. Combining technical expertise, creativity, and a keen eye for detail, Jon prides himself on delivering work to the highest standard.

Project Manager

After a diverse and rewarding career in the retail sector, Chloë has focussed her organisational attentions on the Creative Industry for the past 5 years. Balancing high-level key-support roles with managing projects and business change has given her a great perspective on both the operational and strategic sides of creative agencies. Moving in to the animation sector has been an ambition for some time and she is now turning her hand to all things Gecko.

Office Manager

Katherine excelled for 12 years in the toy industry, where she held various buying roles focused on product selection, own-brand development, sales and promotional strategies. After taking time out to raise her young family, Katherine has returned to the workforce and is now enjoying her role as Office Manager at Gecko Animation. She plays a key part in supporting the company’s growth and everyday running of the office as Gecko continues to expand and evolve.

Chairman

Simon is the Chair and Growth adviser to the Gecko team. Over a 25 year career he has lived and worked in seven countries, leading major agencies such as :JWT, 0gilvy, Brand Union and FITCH which adds adds vital experience to our development agenda. Simon enjoys working with nimble, creative, energetic, challenger companies. His best days are spent helping them build belief to grow their story. So, much like the infamous GECKO, he loves to view our business from all angles.
