The Challenge
We received the footage from Carlsberg done by Kind Film. Challenge was to create photoreal product replacements for localisation, versioning and also to replace missing products during the shoot.
Often during commercial productions, not all products are available to photograph. Gecko has been remarkably useful recently in fixing these sorts of problems.
Our Approach
Gecko operates as puzzle solvers in this sort of production. We replace the products with photorealistic CG replacements, labels and all!
Complex object-tracking and match lighting techniques help perfectly match the received footage.
This gives our clients the most amazing ability to turn one commercial into many at a low cost!
This ability to turn one film into many is an incredible ability to behold. Seamlessly localising assets as if everything was shot on location is cost effective and massively useful for our clients.
