Alajmo Brand Ident

3D Animation and Print Imagery

The Challenge

Bringing the Alajmo brand to life as part of a restaurant launch in St. Marks Square, Venice. Working with renouned designer Phillippe Starck and the creative minds at GBH London.

The identity of rebirth rising up from the Venecian depths needed to be visualised in a striking and dynamic way.

Our Approach

Initial focus was on creating the ornate digital sculpture of the Q and other letters. We worked on complex dynamic shaders to evolve the sculpture from rusted and corroded metal to pristine luscious gold.

Combined with particle systems and simulated water surface we created this motion to slowly reveal the golden form as it rises up from the depths.

Finally our music composer created a soundscape filled with cinematic audio design to bring the whole piece together.

We sculpted the branded lettering in 3D and developed a dynamic shading system to reveal it underwater.
