We were hired to realise the concept for a new retail outlet in Dubai called Tango. Tango is aspiring to be the leading retailer in the UAE that provides integrated technology solutions in a unique environment coupled with exceptional customer service through skilled and friendly consultants, enabling customers to enjoy the experience of shopping for electronics.
The challenge was to create a 100% CG realisation of their store concept from which we could output a number of ‘fly-by’ shots that our clients could use in a showcase. We modelled the store and rendered it using advanced global illumination techniques for photo-realism. Later we added several elements such as the car and product selections that instantly brought the whole project to life.
We worked on a visual style that was both striking yet still approaching photo-realism. The surfaces and products had to seem believable to the touch yet still be eye-catching and exciting to see. To showcase this project we have edited together a selection of the fly-by shots that were presented to our client.
