We were hired to provide additional visual elements to this striking commercial for Tango in Dubai. This was a live action production orchestrated by John Staton Productions and Two Rivers Partnership. The images they captured were of a beautiful dancer shot in black and white leaping and tumbling through the air.
In sync with the dancer’s elegant movements, we created some hanging droplets that the dancer would be seen to interact with. The products: a laptop, camera and phone were animated to float suspended around the dancer in 3D space.
Advanced fluid dynamics were used in the creation of the droplets to give the whole sequence a feeling of weightlessness and grace. The use of the Tango colour orange provided a stark contrast to the monochromatic dancer and helped to illuminate the products. The result is a gracious, dynamic and expressive use of colour and movement that best describe the design philosophies of Tango.
