Gecko produced several full CG shots for an internal trailer for 2K Games' highly anticipated title, The Darkness 2!

We've hit the ground running since moving into our new office on Broadwick Street in Soho. Our first big project was a VFX heavy production for a well known children's charity. We're awaiting the project to be aired either online or on national television. When it does we'll be able to showcase it here.

Our short film, Assembly: Life in Macrospace won 'Best Designed Short' at the Suzanne awards in Amsterdam at the end of October. We've received the trophy and an assortment of goodies to go with it! We're extremely happy and look forward to travelling to Amsterdam for next year's Blender Conference with something new to show!

We're excited to release Assembly: Life in Macrospace. An experimental short that fuses macro photography and CG animation.

After far too long the site has been updated quite substantially! It has been a busy year!

We're very excited to be working on a new in-house animation production! Using photorealistic texturing and rendering techniques we're developing this animation to blur the lines between computer animation and reality!

After animating an entry for a Blender Character Animation Challenge we have published a short tutorial outlining some simple ideas on how to start your own entry!

The new year is here and with it a new site! Many thanks to Lupus Studios for making a site we're very proud of. Check out the revamped portfolio page for what we've been up to this past year!

New site features include a community page that will soon be brimming with tutorials and other resources specifically for the Blender community.

The last 12 months have been fantastic! Gecko Animation has prospered with several projects soon to be showcased online! We believe we deserve a site with a little more kick so preparations are already under way for Gecko Animation Version 2.0.

Rather than leave 'Renovating' signs all over the place, we're developing the new site in the background and will be unveiling it very soon!
